STONEWOOD has been shortlisted in two categories at The RESIS, the property industry’s most prestigious awards.

Stonewood Group has been nominated in the Climate Crisis Initiative – Residential category for its development of 88 sustainable homes at Orchard Field in Siddington. The low-energy homes will be surrounded by hundreds of trees and hedgerows, a restored a 19th century field pattern that will encourage community agriculture, and an ecological drainage solution that will create a haven for wildlife.

The innovative use of a 250-year-old tannery site and its historic workshops and warehouses to create 43 new homes and 100 workspace units has earned a nomination in the Small Development category.

The workspace and residential areas at the development will be linked by a public space that will encourage users of both to mix, bringing a sense of community to those who live and work there. The design of the new buildings reflect the industrial heritage of the site.
